Excited about possible cross

This is the only place I think I can post this with out getting bashed by "hybrid haters". I am actually pretty excited to see how the cross will turn out if it happens. My female Nicuraguan x Con and my Male Platinum Honduran Red Point, are digging a pit together and defending. The Female who usually has a bright metallic gold side is now showing showing metalic orange as well like a female con would. Pics don't do justice her color is magnificent. unfortunately I don't have a tank to raise the fry but hopefully there is enough hiding spots for some fry to make it. So what are your thoughts?

Also was planning to do a water change tonight but don't want to deture and "activity" should I just leave it alone or will doing a water change spur some action.
 
Thanks so maybe a cool water changes may encourage what they already have going on.
 
88 views and no thoughts? I thought someone might have an opinion or insight. I sort of wonder about colors. Will the Platinum color show up in some off spring? Will the original blue coloring from the HRP be passed on? I am curious only time will tell. these two have been paling around for a while only now have I seen this bit of breeding behavior.

Just curious what makes you say this? If I could get a yellow and blue convict sized fish I think it would be pretty cool.
