Excited Puffer

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Haha wicked mbu mine is like this all the time every time He sees me.
When I feed him he almost jumps out the water at me I thought it was me not feeding enough but now I feed every day and he's still like it.

Eats 3-5 pieces of shrimp a day. He doesn't look thin to me, he is the same as the last 5 I've had. He chews on the holey rock pretty often, I've noticed a few of my last MBU's did the same. One of his teeth were damaged in the past, not sure what happened with the original owner. Even if I don't have shrimp, he does the same thing :)

I heard Mbus chomp on smaller tank mates? I guess not so much? I always considered keeping one but never jumped into the puffer game. Seems like a fun fish.

Haha yes a lot of people think that I've only known one mbu to not like tank mates.
My current one is very friendly with a spotted perch and frontosas but will have a go at my bichir if he's hungry.
You should get one they are kinda like a dog in water lol

180 G enough? Think they'd mess with some catfish or a decent size cichlid?
