Thanks for the agood dvice guys. I have already lowered the water level in my tank, power heads on the side walls and have a 14in high canopy to avoid traumatic head injuries due to banging (lost my share of payara all around 10in to that)
I would be willing to get rid of almost all the tank mates to keep the armatus except my 20in ARO. Both eyes look like this now. My 4 tats are so afraid of the armatus they barely move. I cant beleive the 10in armatus is messing with my 20in aro. I have seen plenty of asian monster tanks with monster armatus and aros but the tanks all look to be over 500 gallons.
