exodon experiments

Nice fishies and nice tank, pal... They're still a little skittish, but their bellies are full, showing they're eating well. Some dithers may do the trick here. Maybe a school of hatchetfishes in the surface and a nice catfish to the bottom. Congratulations.

Best regards.

Daniel.

nice fish and nice aquascaping :clap I have heard that if two of them pair up they may attack the others so keep a close eye on them

well i have a background up. this isnt my best aquascaping job. i got a new light for this tank, so it's looking better.

Nice

If you saw my tank you would know that yours looks awesome :D I have found that it is easier to make the tank look messy from the beginning with large cichlids it saves them the trouble later :grinyes:

So right now my 90 has no substrate 2 rocks and 2 plastic plants 1 held down by suction cups the other by a nifty little rock that it connects to.

I would have just left it bare but then there would be no territories in the tank and anarchy would take over even more than it already has.

haha, daniel, you stay on top of things around here, i will get the pics for you sir... for now, i gotta fight off this hangover and night of terrible decision making, then i'll snap some pics in the new light. and the exos are not as skittish. by the way, you think they can draw blood?

Have you ever had exodons before? I'm guessing you have since you're keeping lots of them. Just saying that because I once made the big mistake of not buying enough of them to disperse their pesty nature and relentless nipping. Looks like you've got the "seasoned veteran" sucessful exodon tank that possibly smacks of a previous bad experience. Just guessing!! Like many, I found out the hard way that ETs are evil if they get bored!
Are they being good to each other so far? They look awsome!
Nice tank too btw!

thank you but no I dont. what I did do was research research research. people on this site have posted numerous times that you need to have at least 6, so i got 12. there will be a point when I hafta put them in a 50 gal. tank though.
