that was a rhom (piranha). Very bad mix. Do the same without the piranha, and you'll be fine LOL
 
I like Exo's a lot more than Piranha. Your stocking level depends on your filtration and your water change schedule. You could easily do 30, just change 50-60% of the water every week.
 
lol, i just got rid of my 5 RBP's, they got to big for my 75G. so a little off topic, but what kind of substrate should i use for plants? i want to get some black sand, would that work? I've got some colorado sand (from my work), and plants dont grow all that well in it.
 
depends on how many plants you want to have, if you are only gonna put a few less demanding plants in there, black sand will work just fine, but if you want to have a bunch of the more demanding plants, i would go with aquatic plant soil

I have 58 exos in a 55 gallon. So far so good but expect them to still bite each others lower lips constantly. It is not overcrowded. Im looking to buy around 100 more for a 150 gal. tank when they are back in season.
