For the people on Mfk that have keep buck toothed tetras what tankmates have you successfully been able to keep with the guys and how big do these guys get

bichirs will get big enough to eat the exos.
cichlids will either be too aggressive or not aggressive enough.

I have only had success with plecos. My choice is albino bushynose. They are hardy and cheap. Somewhat attractive and cheap to replace if they get killed. So far my exos ignore them.
I have tried Synos, and Cories. They have all been killed or had all there fins eaten before I could get them out. They are pretty much a species only fish unless you find a inactive bottom feeder.
I agree no Bichirs. Either way you will lose fish.
