how many exodons can u keep in a 10 gallon tank?

Other will probably disagree, but that 10 gallon is not any good for exodon. You need a school of 10+ for them to even act half natural. They get to about 4"...maybe a bit more. They need some room to get away from each other if they get wound up and start taken scales off a runt. Get a bigger tank or something different.

Yeah I use to have 10, when I cut them to 5 they never acted the same..The more the better

currently i haev 14 doing FINE in a 10 gallon, they will be moved to a 20 long real soon, and then the shoal will become 20-25.

Ive had 42 in a 50 gallon breeder doing fine as well.

WTF? they get too big for either a 10or a 20G, and I wouldn't put more than 14 in a 55G.

That's wrong. I had 27 in a planted 75 gallon. I won't give my opinion on a 10 gallon for anything but some guppy's.

or you could be cool like me and get a dwarf puffer for it?
he could get 3 in there.

or how about a lone figure 8 puffer?

10g tanks are made for Pac-Man frogs, period...Really though, I see no way that a shoal of 14 are doing fine in a 10g....First off, the ammonia level would be off the chart after a week's feeding....Unless you are doing water changes everyday, I see no way of water parameters maintaining a safe level after 2 or 3 days of regular feeding...Second, these fish are tetra, they love swimming...They need the space to stretch out their spine....Post pix every two weeks of this crazy setup....

Whatever the case, it is nice to see a hardcore exodon enthusiast like you...I'm pretty sure, when you do get the chance, that you'll get them 125g+, right, yeah......
