hey bro you can try this website called "apethouse.com" they have some really nice looking malaysian driftwood.

wow thats really nice but all i want is a large focal piece of driftwood and none of the pieces on that site were big enough

i pay 2.50 a pound at my lfs so it does sounds high. plus the wood will weigh more because of the water.

plus malaysian drift wood sinks you don't have to soak it.

its been out of water for some time when i said it had been in a fish tank i meant that i didnt need to soak it to get the tannins out.

this place that calls it self a LFS, tries to charge $15.00 a lb, i laugh every time i go there. I used to by my R/O right there as they where the only place that had it.

dr fosters and smith has really good prices on driftwood i got a 20inch lond and about 16 inch high piece of malaysian dw for 18.00 bucks. lfs's always try to charge too much

i would boil it then bake for about 20-30 min
