Experience with Herichthys Pearsei

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Both my Pearsei and Bocourti are about 8 inches and seem to be perfectly behaved community fish but yes you will need a big tank to house these guys as they get chunky !!

I agree - both are very attractive fish. You can keep a pair in a 200g...

I have 2 of them in my 240 gallon community CA setup. One is dominate over the other one and there is some chaising but no real damage. They are about 8". I have them in with other veija and paratherps types and other CA cichlids and so far so good. I have a lot of fish density so the aggression is spread out. They don't really bother any of the other fish, just some stand offs every now and then with the heterospilus. Don't know where you live but if you are within driving distance you can have one of them. Just send me a PM>
