I really want to own a blue xback arowana, but I couldn't afford one..

I dont know how to dye coloring fish, but even if I know how to, I wouldnt do it, because the fish will suffer and the color will be loss once it grows up..

I came up with a simple solution! By adding in colloidal silver in the water for the fish to absorb. In overtime the fish will get infected with Aygria and the blue or greyish color will stay fix! Do you guys think this will work at all? No guarantee thou!

The best part is, the fish isn't suffering any internal or external damage if a small amount of dosage to be added...

If a mammal can change color, why not a fish?

Try it. Colloidal Silver is supposed to be really good for you... in small quantities.

Did you get the idea from the guy who drank collodial silver and turned blue? I actually thought it was pretty interesting... So are you going to do it?

Just get a high end asian arowana from a reputable farm and continue feeding it with market prawn with the shell on. No need for dye or any other chemical added and they will develop a nice color.

no money T.T

Also I wanna see if this will work too """"A strong solution of silver nitrate (81 milligrams silver nitrate per liter of water) applied to the skin of guinea pigs for 28 days did not cause the animals to die; however, it did cause the guinea pigs to stop gaining weight normally. It is not known if this would happen to people if they were exposed the same way"""" <<< pulled it off from Wikipedia..

so if the same solution apply to an arowana, so it will be like stopping the arowana growth... but I am not actually stunting it for keeping it in a small aquarium. It is the solution that makes it to stop growing, it will stay small (Dwarf Arowana)... Anyway this is just the dream, and it probably will end up dying (within a few hours)...

where can i get my hands no collidal silver. ill try the experiment with a jardini!

The best way to get it is to generate it at home. It is really easy. Just try googling it
