in the now!!
Ok guys this is a project i have been thinking about for a while does anybody have any hands onwith this product ?I am thinking about a 10 to 12 ft x4ftx5ft in my small garage 3rd car.building it against the back wall of the garage.Right now it is exposed 2x6 16 on center so ply could be screwed directly to framing right now.Floor is cement .I am starting the planning stage now to save the $$$$$$$needed to make the project happen. Also i will move all my smaller tanks out there to .Two 180's and numerous growouts.I will insulate and be finishing it out with dry wall and FRP comercial board 4 ft up so i can just hose out i also have 220 already in place for the mass water pump!!I am thinking of using a pool pump and filtration.Would the moters last running 24 7? any imput is grately appreciated as i said i am only in the planning stage and am looking for everbodies opinions and imput thanks in advance!!!! Toby nut-case if you check this out chime in!!!!! And Chompers by all means!!OOOPs I will have a viewing window metal frame or block guys. And acylic or glass i am partial to glass tho.

as far as the rhino lining i have no clue.. i just built a 60 gallon expiremental out of herculiner last week. it had one leak where i had missed rolling it onto a joint. but besides that has been leak free for a few days.. lol dunno how it will hold up but i would imagine it should
I am a paint contracter i am hoping that i can spray the liner there for having the liner 100% coverage but coating thickness totaly same mills thickness every where i will have to contact the company and have them send specs on it!!

The 2 things I can think of right off the bat is I would not use the existing walls as support walls for your tank. They were not designed to hold that kind of pressure and you are probobly going to get some bowing on the garage wall, not worth it for the price of some 2x6s. As far as using glass or acrylics, if you are going to be using a liner, I would go with acrylic so you can drill throught the acrylic and bolt from the inside drawing it up to the liner to get a seal. Good luck!

Really ?you think the existing 2x6 walls would bow with ply over them ?well i have to consider all of this i did not think they would bow right now they are exposed so i can do whatever i want. Also the liner is liquid that i am going to spray on.Made forwater tanks.

My concern with using pool pumps is the inefficiency. My pool pump is a small one, and its a 110v 8.5 amp pump, thats almost 1000 watts! Overtime you'd be better off spending $ on decent efficient pump or two, instead of throwing your money away to electricity.
