Hi All

Yesterday i bought 2 bags of Hikari Massivore but as i got home i saw that both bags expired in 2008-08.

Does this mean the food is no good or will i be able to still use it as the bags were sealed all the time?

Thanx

i dont think fish food actually goes 'bad', i think it just becomes less nutritiously sound as it ages.

I always wondered about the quality of fish food after its been opened. I just realised that my fish are eating food that is over 2 years expired. The flowerhorn has grown alot in the last 2 months with this food as a staple. I will however go buy something a bit fresher for him today.

At least i know they will still grow lol

Well when your in Johannesburg, South Africa...are you suprised? I had the exact same problem with "biogold plus" around my area and no matter what I tried, they refused to acknowledge that they were expired. Kinda like they dont get credit from Hikari if they go past the "best before" date.
