Cuz my friend works ar lowess and said he can get me 12 bio balls for 2$ so i was gona pick up 2 packs. so 24 bioballs and then all scrubbies :)

no need, wether ther 2 bux a dozen or not. scrubbies cover more surface area then bio balls so might as well jus go with all scrubbies so you can put as many as you can. i prefer scrubbies over bio balls

Lmao that confused the **** outa me. ill just stick to the filter

why do u have to have a overlow wouldent it be better to just stick the tubes into the tank and suck on both of them before u put them into the mdidle chamber?

where is your water being put back into the tank after it goes thru the sump?

Ahh i understand now :) 1 more question though how large is your tank? and is there anyway of makeing it so you can increase the speed or slow it down at which the water goes through this process .. let me know if i confused u there

it is 190g... yes i can control my rate of flow by a simple ball valve placed on the return line after the pump... when i slow down the flow of water from the pump, the overflow box also slows down the syphon. it is really simple on how it works.

once the waterlevel in the tank gets low to where it doesn't flow into the overflow box, the syphon in the u-tubes stop flowing water, but does not lose syphon.

it works on gravity as all plumbing does

mhm thank you ill post pics when i start to build it lmao

p.s my arowanas are fat lil pigs stealing all my outher fishes food.. Bad arowanas dont eat the cut up shrimp! eat your pellets!!!!!!!
