i have a jewel 450 which is 450 liters i think i have a eheim proffentional 2 2026 but not 100% sure.

I am thinkinf off adding a Eheim Professional Wet and Dry External Aquarium Filter - 2227, i wanted to have a FX 5 but i can't fit in in any were, the only way would be to drill whole in the cabenet but still not sure if it would properly fit.

What would u recomend.

if u cant fit the FX 5 in, i would go with an Eheim 2080 if that even fits.. if u have 5.4'' free space behind the tank i would recommend an ac110 as well.
Ive heard from a couple of people that the eheim wet-drys are not as good as their regular canister filters.

Ok. I would love to use FX but the only place i could put it would be in the middle of the stand and drill wholes thorough to the back not sure how easy it would be to run the pipes. I have about 14" to play with down the side of my tank where the filter would be placed

I also posted a while ago about the eheim wet dry and ultimately went with the Fx5. See if you have room for a 2080 as suggested above. The AC 110 isn't a bad idea either.

you still wouldn't have enough space for the FX5 if you only used that on the tank? that would be best IMO

no there is no space the only way i could see putting it in would be drill whole through middle of the cabenit to run the pipes through and the fliter would sit in the middle of the cabinet between the two cuboards what you think?
But not sure if it would effect the structure of the cabinet
