Got a serious problem with my green terror Arther ive been gone for 2 days and my fish have been under the car of my mother she calle dme and told me she thought saw ick on Arther i told her to bump up the temp and add some quick cure. The ick went away extremely fast within one day and i was like ok sweet sounds good but i continued treatment. This morning i wake up to find Arther not only has Ick again but also alot of fin rot, a long white string from the anus and his scales are getting destroyed. idfk what this is ive never seen this before his scales are rotting and the rot is spreading very fast. His face is literally rotting off.
Water is perfect
0 ammonia
0 nitrite
under 5 ppm nitrate i do water changes every day

I would just continue treatment for the Ich that should go away soon but you might also need to replace most of the water to do so. As for the other problems Ive seen It before but I cant help you with it. The fish that got this in my aquarium ultimately died because i couldn't find any treatment in time. In the meantime I would seperate him from the rest of your fish (if you havent already) so that your other fish don't contract either parasite

remove carbon filter if installed, add 1.5lbs of salt per 50 gallons, melafix and pimafix, frequent water changes 40-50%, increase temp to 84-86 degrees hope it works out

x2

If you don't want chemicals in the water you can also do 25-30% water changes everyday with aquarium salt and 85 degrees.

If you want to chemicals melafix and pimafix are excellent. Medicated food is good if you can get him to eat it. I think it's maracyn or another m named chemical will also help.

No idea what it is, bump so someone who does might see it. Good luck but it sure doesn't look good.
