Hey guys
My endlicheri is displaying extremely aggressive behavior towards my lapradei. Never happened till recently. They are about the same size just that the endlicheri is fatter.
Any reasons/causes? Would appreciate some advice on how to quell this aggression as the lapradei is a little injured right now(tail torn, stressed).

P.S they are all well fed.

do they have hiding places? how big is the tank and fish? i would add stress coat 4 the injury and mayb bag the endli 4 a lil while rearange the tank and c if it stops i jus changed my grow out tank and the moke aint tryn 2 kill the ornate anymore he had a big chunk outa his tail 2

Best to just let them be and let them settle their difference as the endli will just soon leave the lap alone. Or you can add more bichirs and do a bichir pile. Removing the endli or the lap and the cycle will just repeat again if you do plan to add them together again.

Hi they do have some hiding places and added some stress coat too. The tank is 4x2x2 and there are only 2 bichirs in there. the lap and the endli. I hope mr endli will stop being so aggressive.

I wanna keep em together forever but is there anyway of lower the endli's level of aggression other than adding more hiding spaces?
Thanks all for the reply I appreciate it :)

Add more bichirs. Or just let them be. Adding hiding place will just actually make the endli more aggressive as it will claim those hiding place as its own territory. Making it more aggressive toward the lap.

yeah..add more poly..last time i have the same problem..just give them time to settle in.;)

Right looks like the replies are all the same! time to throw some bichirs in there to quell the aggression!
Thanks once again guys ! :)
