It takes me 10 minutes to cut and organize them, and I save a lot of money.

You would be surprised at how much money you can really save.
I guess it depends if I really will use the stuff. The people on the tv show are retarded. Ladies buying 80+ bottles of hot sauce and soy sauce. Give me a break! It only makes sense if you buy stuff in bulk, which I'm not about to do. With that said, I love saving money when I can. I'm just not about to sit there and sift through newspapers looking for a $0.50 coupon.

Yeah, I only buy stuff I need or will potentially use.

I'm all for stocking up, but yeah.. I don't need 80+ bottles of anything.

^^ Agree

But I would love to do it on a small scale ..

Today I got 2 bottles of $1.99 chocolate milk on sale 2 for $3 and used 2 .35off coupons ... both for 2.30$ total ...

:)

We also have some soda coupons to use soon ... 4/11 sale and 1$ off 3, so 4/10 on 12 packs. also have a 5/$5 2 liter and 2 free coupon...

i'd love to do more. but as jcardona said, only on stuff we need.

I figure it's worth the $2.00 for a Sunday Newspaper to save a little bit of money, and whatever paper I don't use, my cat sleeps on, and my night crawlers eat!

couple days ago i went to the store with someone and was buying frozen pizza for 2/11$ and that was a sale price. didnt look like it to me. but when it was paid for they were 1.50 each. my mind was blown to pieces. coupons are like magic

This, I do coupon but not to that extreme. I buy stuff I'm gonna use. I save probably 20-40 bucks a month on groceries. I also look for coupons for my pet supplies. The more I safe at the store the more money I have to buy fish stuff. That one lady who bought all the cold medicine was an idiot. "I get my coupons from God" yeah whatever, she probab;y buys hundreds of sunday papers. I'm sure it gets to a point where she's spending a ton of my on newspapers. Of course she won't admit it. I've had success selling certain coupons on Ebay. Nicotine replacement coupons and cigarette coupons fetch me decent amounts of money. I'm always looking for deals and tips, so if you have any please share. I also subscribe to a few websites too. Frugal Northwest is one of them and the Winco Lady is another

Well, extreme couponing is having so much worth of coupons that you save an incredible about of money..

Like buying $800 and only having to pay $40 because your coupons paid for the rest.

Example.. I spent $300+ on groceries yesterday, and with coupons I saved $146.

Nice! I wish I could save that much, but means I'd have to not be picky about toiletries ans soaps.

 LOL Jose you don't strike me as the coupon clipping type!

Every sunday i cut the coupons out of the paper..thats the day they add them to the sunday delivery... i only cut the ones i will use.. i use ONLY the ones i normally would buy... and i save quite a bit of money.. to me a $1.00 off on something i will purhase anyway is a huge savings... and even if they make you purchase more then one of the item.. as long as it is what you will use..stocking up is an advantage too..

Yeah Kroger had Pepsi and cheese on sale last week. I got the coupons from my paper, got some from my mom and bought 2 papers and stocked up. We go through mt dew like crazy here so I was saving 1.00 per half case, so I saved like 20.00 and on the cheese I saved 3.00 on each one so saved 12.00 there. I try not to use coupons as an excuse to buy something I normally don't buy. I love Petsmart coupons! Haven't seen any good ones in a month though. I ALWAYS use quite a few of their coupons. Actually at my LFS I have a few 25.00 off when I spend a 100.00. Maybe I'll need to pick up a 75 gallon and do the stand in a seperate purchase. I'm going to check em out tomorrow or Friday, haven't been there in a while. Another place I love is Costco. Their toilet paper lasts us like 3 months. I buy my dog and cat food there too.
