I agree that people who do this crap are worthless but why to you does it have to be rednecks? I'm from alabama and I am a pure sport fisherman and would never kill a fish unless I was eating it which I rarley do so keep the stereotypes to yourself

Funny thing about rednecks is that most people I seen weren't rednecks.

Sure there are few bad apples in the redneck batch....but 90% of people that do horrible things to the fish weren't rednecks. Most likely it was these teenagers regardless of what sterotypes.

Yeah there are bad apples in any racial group rednecks may have a few more then others but when it comes to our fishing hunting most of us respect it for future generations and just have a love for it and yeah people with nothing else to do and who are under the impression that these fish are evil I don't care what kind of fish it is trash or not I let them swim away

It's the same way out here in ND where Devils lake is the walleye capital of the region (next to Lake of the Woods). There are a lot of 40+inch muskies and pike swimming around because the only thing people want to keep is the walleyes. The really big pike and muskies are often killed to "preserve" the walleye population. And its not the 'red necks' doing it... it's the upper class elitist walleye douche bags who think the only fish worth swimming in water types.

Ive picked a few fights with bass fishermen for killing pike to preserve the bass population. Your catch and release fishing to catch a big bass with a good fight, why not enjoy a big powerful pike?

Yup it's always been upper class elitist walleye/bass d-bags doing it. Their kiddos are following their examples.

You see that with every fish, carp are one of the biggest, commons and grass, save one fish and kill the rest....

I can honestly say I have turned 2 folks away from that, they were gals, when I put them on a big grass carp, they changed their mind. They both used to killem and call them "trash fish". They dont do it anymore. Also taught the both how to release them and not just chuck them back in the water. First time I saw a gal do that, I about messed myself... I had a little talk with her right then and there :)
