Lol didn't think twice about the love thing but it is funny haha.

Alright now the problem is that i ain't going to be able to get a 6 foot tank for a good few months. Simply no room in this house for one really. When i move i should be able to upgrade but not right now.

Is their any way to make this work until then in this tank? Would decor help till then?

Its just strange because the shop had about 8 of them crammed into a much smaller tank than this and they didn't have this problem?

They do seen to be gettig along better now than they was previously. They shoal together and don't seem to be particularly out for blood. But every so often one of them will charge for the other and try and take a bite?

Maybe adding another piranha could help? Just because the shops tank was smaller than mine and it seemed to work but they had way more. But then i really worry about water parameters as 4 large piranhas in a 80g would definitely be overstocked, i think.

Thanks guys

Might be best to just divide them until you can get the large tank, to stop them from taking chunks out of each other. They would not have much room to swim, which would be bad, but better than them killing each other.

How long is a few months? If it's 2 or 3, dividing them might be a good option. If it's 6-9, I'd say your best option unfortunately would be to sell the fish, and try it again when you can provide them a proper setup.

agreed. tank too small, need more #s to distribute aggression, and decorations to disturb LOS. Recommend at the very least 125 but I like more like my filtration so I would go 180-240 at least.
