you seem to have removed the substrate as well. be very careful about ammonia spikes as you have effectively killed off LOTS of beneficial bacteria.

True, but I kept my whole sump running so that could probably handle a lot of the bioload. I was already planning on keeping a close eye on things, but thanks for your consern.

Take that plastic plant out :D And add sand...
And it will look great.

I was thinking about the natural look, but what kept me back is the colour of the bichir on sand. May be doing it soon though, I still like the idea.

wat betreft die ronde sileconen plakken DAT WORD SCHRAPPEN ;)

thats just what I was about to say :D

Looks like you and H did a really good job. I got to say I loved the background (as you know), but damn I didn't realise it took up so much room. Do you know how many gallons you added to the tank?

That back ground was so damn beautiful. If I said I wont miss it, it would be a lie. It's great to have more room.

Thanks! The pbass where awesome, but to big and to agressive for my tank. Esp. since they (the male actually) showed signs of mating and was not liking the datnioid any more.

Lol, kun je Nederlands lezen? Nee zeker :D He said I needed to scape the what he thought was remaining silicone of the back, but it where just air bubbles so there is no need for scraping. I love the background too, but I think I added about 70-90 gallons.

Yeah. In the future I will make one for another tank with some smaller fish (or a really big tank where there's still plenty of room for big fish after I add a background :) ) , I know what to do and it's not that hard.

No I don't. Wish I did though, most people I've met from Holland speak great English (better than some of the kids here lol) and always felt bad couldn't speak in your language. Ahwell, will just have to continue with loud slowed down english words with the help of hand actions to get my point across :D

That's a lot of gallonage. I'd have done the same. Look forward to see if you can make a background as good as that one ;)

man I loved that background!!! but sometimes change is good...gives you a whole new enthusiasm on your fish and setup. That breakdown looks like it was a real Pain...good thing there was another person there to hear all the swearing :) oh...and that dat is sweet ;)

:nilly: I am glad I know it because I heard learning it is almost as difficult as learning japanese (and I do not learn language easy) with all the totally rediculus rules that don't make any sense :screwy:
