In my experience wiping a povidone-iodine on the wound itself together with everyday water change. I tried it on my flowerhorn when my male took a good biting from my female.

Clean water and salt to start as every body had said.

Thanks a lot to all of you guys who have helped me with your advice and positive thoughts. But it's a sad morning for me today. My baby didn't make it before I could buy real medication today.
So sad I've learned and I had to be very extra careful next time. Wheew!
