it is possible that the eggs werent fertile...why hold them if they aint turnin into anything? the fish are probably the dominant in the tank, maybe. The green terror could be harassing the holding females...just a thought. good luck!!
the unknown looks to be a Labeotropheus of sorts only two kinds so that should narrow it down...
I am not a fan of striping, but no where has it been proven that stripping fish will make future generations bad parents. It is the whole nature v nurture argument. You may consider this argument before you do stripe, but do not count it as fact.
Also as it may be the overall thought, fish can eat early on in the holding process, in the wild, in some species they have seen males hold eggs and fry as well. I have on many occasions seen my fish eat at the beginning of holding with eggs and hold to full term...

i'd say that is a labeotropheus trewavasae mpanga Red i have them and it looks just like my breeder male.

i have 5 females and one male only the biggest female breeds with him i have had 2 lots of fry in 2 months. (first 2 spawns ever)
maybe the other fish or synos are eating the eggs
i dont strip my fish just catch her with mouthful then transfer to seperate tank my female is a good mother and spat them once they were good sized.
good to have them in their own tank he will get very territorial once bigger my male is 7-8" still only small compared to the ones i've seen.
