one of my pbass has a white spot in the eye, and i dont know what to do. tank mates are 2 florida gars abt 7-8in, polypterus 9in, and 4 other pbass, all around 5in. should i cure him in a quarantine tank? hes eating fine, but i think a gar might have attacked him because he had a few small spots without scales yesterday that healed up today. what should i do to prevent diseases? will it heal?

If the eye issue appeared after the missing scales, I'd be inclined to monitor it rather than medicate right away. As long as the fish is eating and the eye doesn't become cloudy or swollen, clean water and observation may be all that's needed.

it happened at the same time, i think the pbass got attacked by the gar, even tho they swim together daily and theyre bot chasing each other. the pbass swim near the gars mouth and the gar doesnt attack, but i dont know what mightve happened. it definitely didnt happen when i was watching them, but i think the missing scales which healed appeared at the same time as the damaged eye. ill observe and keep clean water
