Just got this little endilicheri today and now noticed this white cloud speck on his eye. Anyone know what this is, is it harmful, can it be treated?

Thank you

How do you use tea tree extract in the tank? Ive never heard of this before, ia it a natural antibacterial?

It's cloudy eye. Just do a 50% water change and add aquarium salt according to it's directions. It'll clear up in no time.

Ditch the tea tree shenanigans. It bearly works and it causes more harm than good. This is from experience.

I saw a beautiful African cichlid at the lfs today. The only thing was one of his eyes is all messed up. It's white and kinda looks like he may be blind in that eye. He kept that side of himself to the rear of the tank. Do you think this is just an exreme case or is it just a bad eye? This is the first time in a long time my LFS has some really vibrant colored Africans so I'm not sure that there will be another one this good looking. There is one other that is red and blue but I'd rather have the solid electric blue.

Starting to look like a deformed eye rather than infected or beat on. It's pointed down and half submerged. Don't know what to do about it so I'm going to pass on him unless they decide to give him away or something. :)
