Hopefully it heals up for you. Same thing happened to me but I had a FH in my 180 with all my other fish. Put in my lap and it ate both its eyes.. The lap now eats normally after removing the FH
Don't kill the senegal. Put him in another tank. Bichirs can live witoit eyes. They see vers bad anyways.
I tried to comm a senegal bichir with a flowerhorn and i noticed both his eye sockets were completely gone after one day !!
I would have thought the eye sockets would still be there and the eyes gone.
Local fish store just added a bunch of baby jack dempseys in a tank of some 12 senegals that have been in the tank.
