Congrats on getting some. Honestly they dont look that different to me but to each his own. I agree that its a good thing that there is new blood in the hobby. It'll be neat to see what the male looks like when he's around 8-9". As far as whether they were collected legally or not I really dont care. Like JoefatFish said you can have all the docs in the world and one person looking for a bribe can screw it all up. I know a lot of importers bend the rules. I'm good with that. Most of these countries could care less if the fish live or die in there native habitats so if we are able to obtain some then I think it is good for the fish survival as a species. Is that ethical? It's fish guys. Enjoy the hobby and increase awareness. I order from Don and Jeff and I ask them all kinds of questions about collection points, etc because I want to know all there is to know about a prospective purchase. Guys in this thread asking questions are just doing the same just on a slightly different level. Like Rodney King said, "Can't we all just get along?" LOL.
