CONGRATS! FlatfishLeo knows his stuff and is a serious fish keeper. I have alot of respect for the man. As for your bloodline comment you had made. I understand you ment that LEO's breeding pair may have come from that other persons bloodline. My festae came from a local dude that got his breeding pair from some big guy in AZ. As long as you the "wild caught"(F0, F1, F2) can be validated by looks or source. Its alot to be enjoyed and appreciated. Just know that them little guys will end up needing alot more room. I tend to like tanks no smaller then 125g or even maybe a 110 gallon because of the 2 foot depth footprint them tanks have. GREAT LOOKING babys.
TAKE LOTS OF PICTURES. I like scanning through mine and you can almost watch the growth rate through pictures. I tend to take lots of pictures of my festae. At one point I wanted a Cannon Rebel DSLR camera just to take better pictures. AWESOME FISH BUD.
Thank you! and since the first few pictures, they have been introduced to the 125g! i just needed to move out some fish before they went into there. i can post up a pic of the current set up that im using as a growout tank.
