Wow, that's a pile of red severums you have there. Interesting that the Beani is doing well with them. You hear so much about there aggression levels I never would have thought it. Every fish is a little different though so you just never really know whta might work.

I must agree, it is a pile of Red Severum.LOL
Just another breeding project that I'm working on, and once I recieve my beani's and didn't have the room to separate them, and I would've after everything I read about they're aggression. But turns out maybe it was a good thing that I didn't have the room. So I decided to give this a try before I went out and get another tank. So far so good, and this is only temporary and I plan on moving them to a 75gl in the coming weeks. Haven't decided on what to house them with yet, but will not be alone.

Very nice Beani. I would have never thought it would work. For a quick second I thought about trying to put mine with my sevs and geos when I saw yours, but with my luck it would probaby end horribly.

I don't really believe that there is any rule on what fish will be compatible. I guess you can say that it's more like a majority of the time it won't work, but it's not impossible. And if your daring enough to try it, and it works, hats off to you. I have seen some of the wierdest combinations, including a foot long managuense with a bunch of 6" goldfish. Looking forward to more updates.

Thats pretty much what it boils down to, trail and error. You right about they're no set of rules, set fouth about how to care for any type of fish. Trust me, if they we're 6in when I got them, I would have never tried it. All I'm trying to say is, what works for me, but not work for you but the possibilitys are endles!!!

Hi All,

I decided to update this thread to show what my babys look like then and now. You know what they say, if its not broke don't fix it. So I kept them where they were. All is good and they're blowing up very nicely. Hope you enjoy.....
