I got 4 of these little guys from Eddie at Bluegrass Aquatics. I wanted to share them. They are in a 55g with some geos (can anyone id these geos BTW). Anyway - the pearsi are awesome, curious little guys. My pics arent the best but I think I squeak in a good one now and again.

Eddie's a great guy. I need to run over there and see what he has in stock again... I didn't know he could get pearsei, I may have to see if he can hook me up with a couple...
 
The pearsi will not get along once they get around 5-7" unless you have a really, really big tank. I had two in a 240 (8x2x2) that turned out to be two males and they did not like each other too much. They are awsome fish and never get full. They are actually very oscar like in their behavior. They do not take any crap off anyone either. You will enjoy them alot.

appreciate your input, the plan is to try and get a pair out of these four. I know it is way early but do you have any experience with sexing these fish?
 
how much you pay? we have them here at the store for 8.99 at 3". these come from conkel and are also f1. if you still want some argentae we got those too.

They were like six bucks from Eddie. I am definitely stopping back by the fish ranch next time in houston or I may have you bring me a few things to the TCA meet if you are still going.
