F1 Xingu update

Thats really cool you guys are challenging each other on growth with peacock bass.

They always look really cool at younger stages then they look like beasts when they get older.

Lol i have like three juvies right now one mono, one ocel, and one Orino my orino is out growing my Mono which is surprising, And my ocel just took off in growth getting to about 6 inches now.

Where did you guys get some Xingus?

These are all one spawn from German breeder Micheal Bottner. Laz and Wes (Rare Fish) were the only two importers to bring them into the US. Laz had two for sell earlier this week. So if they all came from the same parent why are they looking so different?. Obviously it's the location/climate/water source of the keeper, feeding regime, and something no one has metioned yet..filtration/water condition. Oops is that a secret? I think we have a good study group from all over and maybe we can determine how to raise Grand Champion pbass from this controlled group of bass. I don't want to exclude anyone who have or don't have xingus so everyone please contribute.

I feed anything Hikari. Try floating and sinking.
