Shouldn't be me to make the rules. I think at the end of the day or after one year, size/conformation and color show be judged. Periodic pics is good enough (no measuring). Let's keep it general as far as info (bare bottom, sump or no sump, live or no live and tank size). I believe serious keepers can figure it out on their own. No details please. Looking forward to it.
I like it but after a year we will need at least one measurmet shot. Other then that let the games begin or continue depending on your progress.

Ok so went out and got my weekly supplies and I was thinking are we going to do this in seperate thread's? Also are we going to disclose all information like temp and feeding types/occurance (meaning how often do we feed)? Also I just measured my largest and he is a little over 5'' so I am ready to start the Cichla Leauge Playoff's.
Maybe we should use the Cichla League Board room for some of this hashing thing's out?

Id say we just make a thread in the cichla section. We only need one thread.
As far as details......give em all. Feeding, wc schedule, temp, filtration, tank size etc. We are here to help each other out.....so lets see who can do it w/ out secrets.
As far as measuring....I wont pull cichla out to measure them. They are too delicate for that....my aro's and bichirs no problem cause they breath from the surface. But not my bass.

I like that idea as well Ken. Were all going to have fun learning and following each other's growth/tecnique's/knowledge so I think we should leave it up to each individule to share what they like when they like. We can keep it easy and free going as we have been doing this far. Yea guy's I know it's wierd using the Cichla League navigation but once you enter the Forum just scroll down to the bottom and you can see the discussion's. Unfourtinatly bOOstenAudi is still the moderator of the Leauge and we all know he hasn't been around as much. I will try and give him a call here in a minute. But we got time to get it all hashed out heck I would say at least a year!
