ive been hearing forever that crocs and gators can sprint at 30mph

WTh???? wouldnt poor steve irwin (my idol) or brady barr (another) have been dead a long time ago if that was true??? i know they can burst in an ambush faster than that, but running??? they tire fast anyway

i dont believe it, but i keep hearing it

i wouldnt doubt it. even if its not 30mph i bet its pretty close to that.

and as far as steve irwin and brady barr just because they can run that fast doesnt always mean they will. and the fact that they were real lucky..

I can see lunging speed being 30mpg, but not sprinting speed. I have heard running speeds more in tune with 20-25mpg.

They can sprint as fast as 30mph, but it's not for catching prey. It's usually to escape predators and they rather conserve their energy.

they saw johnstons crocs run at 15mph, not 30

so i highly doubt it
