Just use redguard to waterproof. A few buckets and you're done. Make sure to use the mesh in between layers for strength. If your customer doesn't like the looks of a red pond, you can lay tile over it. Doesn't have to be fancy, cheap ceramic tile that looks like slate. 1$/ sq ft. Overall with redguard and tile you're looking at the 5$ per sq ft range.
Joelypops....lol...sure, in my mind it's ready and full with happy fish.
This pond will be very slow, start digging maybe february next year.
Need to check lots of stuff. For one, water-table to make sure for the digging and poring of concrete or even with liner.
Anchovie, I guess it's a waterproofing agent. That would be a sure thing if we go concrete. Got some time to think it over and to discuss with the owner. Whatever it will be, it has to be perfect, since I am sure it will lead to follow up orders...
Nothing much for now except a firmed up schedule and siteview appointment next Saturday with the contractor.
Factory finished late August, so construction for the pond will start end May/early June.
Sorry to say, but the customer has for now decided against the pond due to parking space necessary for customers.
Thanks for following, hope one day he'll change his mind, but nothing much I can do about it.
