So I'm gauging interest in my fader bifasciatus bloodline. I have buyers asking from Asia but I wanted to see if people would be interested out here in the states.

I'm not creating this thread to argue the lineage of these fish.

You could go onto my other thread for that.

Just looking for interest in this fish.

Wouldn't it make more sense to post pics of the fish that you actually have, and not ones that you never owned, or bred? Even if these are pure, which IMO is a real stretch, you have never produced anything that looks like the fish shown in the pics above.

Thanks for your input. You see why I posted above to "not argue the lineage of this fish." I guess I should have said "RD." please don't post here. You have honestly hounded the previous owner from years ago and now me? I don't know what your hatred for this fish is or for the member who brought it into the hobby but seriously man you need to chill. And don't say you don't hate this fish because you have posted on every single thread with intense bias.

The reason I haven't posted pics of the fry is because they begin fading in ADULTHOOD. The pics are to give you an idea of what they will look like. Just like if I was selling fader Texas.

But heres some pics of the fry

And progressive pics of the mother. Progressive meaning she has not finished completely fading and is progressively still in the process.

Hounded? I don't believe that I have ever responded to any topics that Ghani posted about these fish years back. I mean I might have, but I don't think so. lol Perhaps you have me mistaken with someone else?

But here's your reality check - this is an open forum, if you don't want to read comments from fellow members then don't post here - post your advertisement in the Classified section.

The bottom line is you are using photos from a fish that you do not own, nor have ever owned, and you are clearly using those pics to advertise your juvie fish, fish that for the most part will probably never end up looking like that male of Ghani's. Worse, you don't even mention that, as though everyone & anyone landing on this topic would know this probably isn't what their fish will eventually look like because they have been following your previous topics. The whole thing came across very misleading to me - something that a LOT of people new to the hobby might not understand when buying juvenile fish from that genus.

It's a crap shoot, with the odds of a fish looking like Ghani's male probably being 1 out of 100.

Good luck with unloading your fish.

That’s just it, there is no argument. You simply seem very confused.

Such as when stating:

You have honestly hounded the previous owner from years ago and now me?

Please show me where I have posted a single comment to the previous owner, here on MFK or anywhere else? Here's one of his earlier threads from years ago, showing this same fish. I never even posted in it. lol

And this:

And don't say you don't hate this fish because you have posted on every single thread with intense bias.

The only thread regarding this fish that I recall ever posting on, is the one that you started this past summer, in the following link.
http://monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/threads/fader-bifasciatus.645512/

Where the first words that I typed about Ruck's fish was ....... "That male sure was a looker!"

How exactly is that me, hating this fish??? Because you didn't like my thought process regarding Conkel & Gage? That's not me hating either, I don't personally trust either one of them when it comes to their story telling, nor do a lot of other folks, especially the way Gage has been dealing over these past couple of years. Ring any bells? http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/threads/this-is-about-martinboys-piebald-zonatus.454683/

I have nothing against that fish, no matter the origin. Had Ruck offered me his fish years ago, I would have snatched him up in a heartbeat!

But this is where you really lost me.

The reason I haven't posted pics of the fry is because they begin fading in ADULTHOOD. The pics are to give you an idea of what they will look like. Just like if I was selling fader Texas.

On what planet do RT sellers show pics of the father of the mother (grandfather) on one side, when listing their juvenile unfaded fish? The answer - Never! lol The parents are sometimes shown, but even that has no real bearing on how each individual fish is going to look, or for that matter if the fish purchased will even fade. Out of a spawn of 300 juvies, only a select few, if any, might end up looking as spectacular as ol granddaddy.

Using that male of Rucks to as you say........ "give you an idea of what they will look like", is IMO a complete farce. That's like showing someone a winning lottery ticket from 5 yrs ago, and then telling them you have some tickets for sale that will turn out just like it.
