i had this fellow in a concrete pond till now, but i have transferred him to my grow out tank and he is very shy and stressed out. so i will try venting few days later.
imo red devils grow slower than fh

in my experience red devils are one of the fastest growing cichlids. Flowerhorns all depend on the fish. I have some who grow really fast and some who grow really slow.

red devils/midas' grow extremely fast. about 1" per month. i've had tons and every single one grew very quick.

MY FH GREW MORE THAN THIS GUY, MAYBE IT'S THE INDIVIDUAL FISH CHARECTERS
