HEy folks, I have a pretty awesome Fahaka who is healthy and enjoys a varied diet. I also have a shrimp colony with an explosive population of trumpet snails (Melanoides tuberculata) I've heard that some puffers can't eat them because it breaks their teeth. Do any of you have trumpet snails in your fahaka tank?
I'd like to start throwing those snails in the puffer tank to give him something to do.

I've never fed them to my puffer coz i have heard that they can crack a puffers teeth... so no haven't tried it, and personally wouldn't recommend it just to be safe...

Ramshorns definitely are, and pretty sure apple snails should be fine as well...
