The plants are cool he lays in the leaf doesn't bother them at all, I think they only need with plants when a prey item is in near or around them. That plant is his best friend.

Nice lil guy wish I still had mine, I had to get rid of him when my tank flooded and my wife flipped well the lfs I sold it too still has it and it's been like 9 months no one wants to buy him I stopped going there because it depresses me loved that guy
