well after hearing about how puffers love crayfish i bought a couple and threw them in the tank. so he finily took one out and riped its head open and my tank literly exploded with yellowish fluffy brain matter i guess, its everywere. is this normal? i didnt think it would be so messy.

When a puffer eats, they make as much mess as possible, you should see guts blowing out of the puffers gills, mine does it all the time. Keep feeding crayfish or even clams in a shell, frozen ones, they need to wear down the teeth.
hahaha ok good stuff jsut wanted to make sure that was normal. i mean when i feed him other stuff there chunks all over but i mean this was totaly crazy haha like i mean there were chunks of brains everywere haha i was like wtf, its been like 5 minutes and there like chunks still floating all over the place haha. ok kool il get him some more in a little wile then. haha thanks.

i use to feed my fahaka fiddler crabs, it was always awesome to watch because the crab had no where to run but tried it's hardest to get away....The fahaka would bite out the back of it's head, let it walk around alittle then finish it off.. Making a mess is the best part.
the funniest is when i feed my puffer little red wigglers they come out of his gill plate and back into his mouth its funny it takes him forever to get one all the way down
