I still have the two goldfish that came with my fahaka when I bought it. I even saw him bite one...he had it's whole head in its mouth, but he spit it out before he chomped down and hardly even scratched the goldfish. I guess they had the "finding nemo" talk or something.

my fahaka has always had tankmates but just tetras he eats about ten a year when he can outsmart them
it's been about a month and the convicts I put in the tank with him are growing and doing great. I put them in as babies. and they are doing very well. It's actually really funny to watch, they follow the fahaka around every where especially when he is eating his large shrimp. convicts are great for picking up after the fahaka.
