My Fahaka Puffer is right now getting use to my new tank. Previously he was in a 29 gallon tank. He eats a mixed diet, crawfish,clams on the half shell, shrimp and shrimp heads, live crabs "declawed of course". Sorry if that sounds cruel. Don't want to harm the fish. Giving something with a shell has kept its beak in check. Will be proud sting pictures tomorrow of the tank. Soon driftwood will be added. The funds are tight and rather not break the bank. Hopefully everyone will use this to help share and enjoy this creature together!!!

I would love to keep a Fahaka, but already have "enough" big tanks according to my wife lol. You're puffer looks great! That background is borderline wretched though imo. Paint it black and let the puffer shine.

That was an old picture, he is in a new tank. Will take pictures once he is adjusted to the tank.
How long do you think it will take for the puffer to get use to its tank and regain its full color. Also the substrate is a beige sand to which he somewhat resembles.
I've never been able to keep one, just done a bit of research into care for the "someday" lol. If it's an adult fish it could be anywhere from 1-4 weeks, but maybe

He still looks somewhat stressed out with moving him to a new tank. Will do a slight water change shortly.
