Fahaka Puffer w/ Wolf Fish??

When I got my Fahaka few days ago, I put him in my wolf fish tank. It kinda scared me because they are like staring at each other a point blank range like waiting and feeling each other who will attack first, so before anything happens I dip my fish net and scramble them away and took the fahaka off the wolf tank.

I would have been curious to see what would have happened but it probably wouldn't have ended well. What are the sizes of the 2 fish?

Wolf fish is about 4" while fahaka is about 3.5" I was curious at first.. they stayed on that position for like 10secs cause I'm like you.. curious. But something in me snapped and called that curiosity off before anything bad happens. The wolf I got is also aggressive. All of his tankmates got nip fins.
 
I have a Fahaka puffer which is about 7-8 inches but I have a baby wolf that is to be delivered tomorrow that should only be about 8cm .
My puffer is so placid and tolerates sharing his tank with 2 angels 3 different plecs 2 platys and has done for months now !
I did have 2 baby piranha in there as well but took them out as 1 was overly aggressive and they will eventually be going in a 7ft tank with some cichlids anyway !
So hopefully the wolf and puffer will play nicely lol but I will be putting the wolf in the 7ft tank as well when it's big enough !!
Anyway I will keep you updated
