I would not. If it doesn't kill it, it will definitely destroy all finnage. Fahakas are best kept as a single species setup.

I def. agree there have been a few who have tolerated tankmates, but most will not. And that birchir wouldn't stand a chance against a Fahaka.

Fahakas will eventually rip any tank mate apart, unless the tank mate is too fast or aggressive enough to kill the fahaka. No matter what the scenario, in tanks under 600 gallons, you will end with one or less fish.

The fahaka will ruin that poor bichir, trust me i tried, bichir was in there for minutes and the puffer had already taken a chunk out of the bichirs side

Its mostly based on the puffer though, some deal with tank mates, some deal with it then SNAP and kill everything
