wow now i want one for my cichlid tank, so do you think that if you socialize them with other fish when small they would be ok? or should i just keep it with badder fish than it? thnx

they should be kept in freshwater throughout their lives. tankmates are always at risk; stories abound of fahakas that tolerated tankmates for a year or more, then one day flipped out and slaughtered them.

My fahaka is living happily with my NTT datnoid.

I have one in an 80 gallon, I might pick up a 200 with a stand for 450 if I can get the money. I'm having a lot of problems with school right now so IDK. He is about 4 inches including tail. Pictures of him were in a 10 because my LFS got him in before I got the 80 cycled. His personality rocks!! He wont eat Krill though.

OMG, either that is the worst IPs ever or the worst starvation ever. Either was thats HORRIBLE.

Experiment you can put what ever you want with a Fahaka, just dont expect it to live long. And I hope its not going in the 30g in your sig.
