For me 75 gallon would be allright, with good filtration and wc a matter of course.
They are mean. They are ( possibly with the MBU and the BW and SW species ) the most interesting fishes to have in terms of personality. Don't pass on the chance of having one.
They grow quickly, the ones that grow ( because some of them stop growing or grow at a very slow pace as compared to others ). From my experience, stunt growth comes, mostly, from group relations and not from lack of space ( again, given that water quality is the same all over your system ).
They are mean as hell. ( Surprisingly I have 2 that cohabit calmly. Both about the same size. Even steal food from each others mouth. But I hear this is a total rarity. Pehaps when bigger this no longer will apply ).
I would surely go for it.
