Fail on pellets? more harsh methods?

I find it helps if you have other fish eating the pellets. The 18" Azul I picked up has been raised on nothing but frozen fish...after about a month with my Green Aros and other fish, he's started eating pellets. I'd only feed frozen once per week, while pellets every other day...I guess he felt left out
