Ornates are very rare here in ohio. When they are available, they are like 100 bucks for a 6".

Yep, i've only seen 3 or 4 in the stores in the last 3 or 4 yrs. Galion, Ohio LFS had 1 6-7" Ornate for $80.

I just bought my ornate for $80 at foot and its the first one I have seen in my area and only the 4th time my buddy has seen one in 9 yrs of fish keeping in Albany ny area

I have seen widely varying prices for bichir in washington.
I got my ornate at around 8" for $30 sold it for 60 at 17"~ish
Ofcourse Ive seen 8" ones for 45-50+ depending on the store
