Fair Price, or Suspicious?

There’s a guy on another forum selling little (1 inch) Albino Longfin Bristlenose Plecos for $3 per pleco. It sounds really cheap. Should I be suspicious of this, or grab a couple? What’s a fair price for one, or a little pair? Also, how big/old are they when they’re sexable?

Yeah that's low for what you see in a fish store, but they have mark up. If this guy is a breeder, the price makes sense.

However, I think the longfins are UGLY.

I would go for it. Many breeders offer great prices.

You can get them 2.5-3" for only $7 from snookn21 so $3@1" is possible. Of course, anyone can be a scammer regardless of how they price their stuff. And even if they don't scam, they may be crappy shippers so always ask about their live arrival policy. Check their feedback too...
