fake money

Other countries money looks fake to us sometimes because it's just way different then ours, but dont let the colors throw you off, they usually have some of the same security features as US bills, watermarks, special ink/paper,texture, metal strips, I am interested in this too, I stayed with a couple kids from other countries this summer and I would ask them to show me their countries money, I was actually thinking of starting a very small collection of foreign bills, just please don't let any of my friends or family find out that I am collecting things again! :D

The bill you want is the 10000 Dinar with Sadaam on it. It doesn't feel like copy paper though. The 10K bill was worth 30k+ USD before the first Gulf war, so alot went into its design. I got a couple free when buying some air conditioners outside BIAP.
this one is only 250 dinars but seems like regular paper to me.The ebay seller has like 5000 great reviews so maybe i shouldnt get mad yet.Im not yet collecting for profit or such.Right now im just interested in solid items from around the globe.Interested in the many places on earth i have not been and just want a little peice.:)

I collect coins and paper currency from every country I have been to. I have Canada, Mexico, Germany Marks, Hungary Forint, Switzerland Francs, French Francs, Euros from many of the countries that have switched, Iraq (old and new), Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Korea, Japan, Britain, Turkey, and the Phillipines.

so on ebay i keep seeing dinars that are new and they say that they are cheap now but there value to our dollar is going to go up fast.I know i didnt explain this good so can someone fill me in and is it bs or not?

Back in the day you would pay 3 USD for 1 Dinar. After the gulf war that went down to pennies. Then they switched to the new currency. People are buying a bunch thinking that when Iraqi Oil flows like it did in the 80s that it will go back to that value.

I don't think it is going to happen, but I paid the 50 US for 50000 new Dinar just like almost everyone else. The problem is that there is talk of another new currency. So you will have to trade in the old money for the new money at the new global value. This is supposed to happen as their Dinar equalizes with their oil export.
