Fake?

Check the record books for the largest umbee caught. You will find that this pic is that umbee. Yes it may look larger because of the angle of the pic and how its being held. but this is a beast of an umbee. Umbees do get larger than 24" too, in the wild and domesticated. But if you look at the pic, his hand is right next to the umbees mouth. So you can get more of a realistic idea of size. This umbee wouldn't have a problem swallowing his hand lol. Also if you were to collect umbees, you would know that yes, their colors do maintain even after a nice long fight. If you want proof, check out umbeekings collecting videos:)

and the fish in the pic may be (REAL), but the size can't be determined & that's what the debate is about here (OscarMan0315).

Also the op was asking if the picture was real, not the size of the fish.
 
If you run the picture through an image forensics program (Error Level Analyzer), it actually shows the picture is unaltered. The only thing slightly enhanced are the blue markings on the gills, and these could have just been auto-corrected for color or contrast in a graphics program to make the picture a little brighter. So I'd say the picture is real. The perspective is probably what throws people off. ;)

I understand that Jillfishiie But the title of the thread is "Fake?" If we were to determine that it is a real image, then we can obviously say that (YES) Umbee do indeed get that big.
