Ctenolucius hujeta is a good one. I know they get two feet in the wild, but over 12" is very rare in an aquarium...

Thanks

i prefer the looks of the hujita over the other fish, is there any difference in care level? how about the spotted pike characian? (i think thats its name)

thanks
Matt

You have got to be kidding me....

This was first posted in gars and the advice from those who like real gars (You know the big ones with ganoid scales and heterocercal tails that date back some 75 million years Called LEPISOSTEIDS not tetras and long beaked rainbow fish) was to post this in General...

It was and was being answered just fine... So now what???? You move it back to TRUE GARS... Un-fricking believable...

Li.. do we need to put together a taxonomy and fish ID class for your staff ??????
